Versus Human Ratings

Games played on Internet Chess Club (ICC) server against human opponents.

MadChess’ rating is higher against human opponents than computer opponents.  This indicates the ratings of computer chess engines are not well calibrated to the ratings of human players. It’s likely chess engines are stronger than their ratings on established lists, such as the Computer Chess Ratings Lists (CCRL), suggest.

MadChess plays on ICC with the username MadChessEngine. MadChess’ rating in bullet, blitz, and rapid (standard) chess is available on its ICC profile page.
